Summary

We won't give your personal information to anyone unless the law requires us to. We won't send you anything unless you ask us to.

You can find out more about the information we collect and how we use it below.

What information do we collect?

Personal Information

We sometimes collect personal information about you that you give us when you use our website or services. This includes, your e-mail address, and the book series (plural) that you're interested in.

We use this information for the following purposes.

  • Making it possible for you to access some of our services (e.g. personal login details).
  • To customise aspects of our service/site to your particular requirements, personal preferences and past usage patterns. We want to make everything as relevant and easy-to-use as possible.
  • To communicate with you if you've asked us to.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information

We also collect information that can't be tracked back to you as a person. This information includes the type of computer you're using, your geographical location, IP Address and type of web browser.

 We use this information to;

  • Improve how our site is arranged and how it interacts with its users
  • Get an idea of what kind of things people are interested in
  • Recognise when people return to our site.

Passing On Information

We never pass on any of the information we've collected about you, whether or not it's personally identifiable.

Communications

We'll only send you e-mails or other forms of communication if you've asked us to by ticking a box somewhere. We only ever send you the kind of thing you've asked for. You can tell us to stop at any time and we will.

Cookies

We may use cookies to track the general behaviour of people visiting our site. A cookie is a tiny file sent  to your browser by a web server. It's stored by your browser and sent back to the server in later requests for web pages.  You can think of them as identification cards that let websites customise themselves to your particular needs. Unfortunately, this kind of cookie isn't edible.

We use cookies help our site remember who you are if you've logged in. They may also be used for collection of non-personal statistics about how our website is used.

If you don't feel comfortable with cookies being stored on your computer, most web browsers offer you the option to turn off or limit this functionality.

Web Beacons

Web beacons are small images embedded in a web page or e-mail. They allow us to track when and how often a page/e-mail is used. They're typically provided by services like Google Analytics. We use beacons to collect non-personal statistics about how sites are used.
